Thomas Gibson

Lightweight rower Thomas Gibson made his senior World Championship debut in 2004, taking bronze with the lightweight men’s eight in Spain.

Gibson competed with Sam Beltz in the lightweight double sculls at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The Tasmanian duo, who had finished fourth at the 2006 and 2007 World Championships, placed 10th at the Olympics.

London 2012 was Gibson’s second Olympic appearance, again in the double sculls but with Roderick Chisholm. They missed the final, finishing 13th overall.
