Club and School Governance

Rowing SA has designed a checklist to assist clubs and schools to provide a structured framework to ensure all affiliated organisations adhere to established governance standards, legal requirements, and best practices. This checklist helps maintain transparency, accountability, and integrity in all operations, which align with Rowing SA’s policies and the broader regulatory environment.

By following the checklist, clubs and schools can enhance their organisational effectiveness, minimize risks, and ensure a safe and fair environment for all participants.

These documents, need to be read seperately – the safety and compliance checklist replaces the previous Club Safety document that was available in a excel spreadsheet.
The intention of the Governance checklist is to provide a guide for meeting various governance requirements.
The compliance briefing outlines all areas of compliance required for safe use of West Lakes, as well as risk mitigation for all members.
