Regatta Course and Facility Hire
The A.M. Ramsay Regatta Course is managed by Rowing South Australia (Rowing SA) on behalf of the Government of South Australia. All Regatta Course bookings and event coordination are administered through Rowing SA. Revenue received from Regatta Course hire is managed separately from Rowing SA’s operational accounts and is reinvested into the ongoing management, maintenance and improvement of the Regatta Course and associated infrastructure.
To secure a booking for any event or activity conducted on the Regatta Course, the relevant booking forms must be completed and submitted to Rowing SA.
Council Requirements
All bookings relating to Council-managed areas and services, including:
- Oarsman Reserve
- Rowers Reserve (Northern Reserve)
- Waste management and event bins
- Irrigation line marking
- Other Council approvals or services
must be arranged directly with the City of Charles Sturt External Events Administration Officer.

Rowing SA Facility Hire
Requests for the hire of Rowing SA facilities or equipment must be submitted in writing using the relevant booking form below and signed by the person responsible for payment of all applicable fees. Submission of a booking enquiry does not confirm a booking — bookings are only confirmed once approval has been granted and all applicable fees have been paid.
