School Rowing

School rowers make up the majority of membership at Rowing SA. Being part of arguably the “ultimate team sport” through a school rowing program during a child’s formative years helps develop character, resilience, confidence and strength. The rowing community welcomes each individual school, and school clubs help create culture, support regattas and provide the same commitment to safe, well-coached, inclusive rowing found across our club scene.

Sporting Schools

Is your school interested in rowing? Sporting Schools has partnered with over 35 NSOs to help deliver a quality Sporting Schools experience. Rowing Australia offers all Sporting Schools programs and does not require external coaching providers. For further information please contact Rowing Australia – Ron Batt, riggers@rowingaustralia.com.au.

Once school rowing finishes, many athletes continue their journey at a member club – visit our Club Rowing page to find one near you.
