Rowing SA recognises the service provided by athletes, coaches, volunteers, and officials. There are several awards in place to honour outstanding members of the rowing community.
Coach of the Year
Determined by Rowing SA in conjunction with the South Australian Sports Institute, recognising the coach who has excelled across school, club and state team coaching.
Bob Pennington Award
Introduced in 2017 to recognise the Boat Race Official of the Year, acknowledging the outstanding efforts of our officials.
Community Club Person of the Year
Introduced in 2017 to recognise outstanding community service by an individual within the Rowing SA community. Nomination based.
Volunteer of the Year
Acknowledges the unpaid volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure Rowing SA events run smoothly, going beyond what is required of them.
Celebrating our members at the 2025-2026 Awards of Excellence presentation breakfast.
Division Premierships are awarded to the club whose members accumulate the most points across the season’s regattas in each division. Perpetual trophies are awarded to the Premiership Open Men’s and Women’s club contingents:
