South Australian Nathan Bowden first represented Australia in 2011 at the World Rowing Junior Championships in the Junior Men’s Four. He later went on to compete at World Rowing Cup 1 in 2014 in Sydney in the Men’s Eight where his crew finished fourth in the A-Final.In 2016, he combined with Angus Moore in the Men’s Pair to race at the World University Rowing Championships, winning a bronze medal.
A consistent performer at National level, Bowden was crowned National champion in the Men’s Four, alongside fellow South Australians Alex Hill, Bryn Coudraye and James McRae at the 2017 Aon Sydney International Rowing Regatta. The Sydney RC athlete is currently studying Construction Management and has been selected to compete in Australia’s Men’s Eight at the 2017 World Rowing Cups 2 and 3. In 2018, Bowden was named as the reserve for the Men’s Eight at the 2018 World Rowing Championships.
