James Medway

James Medway first competed for Australia in 2013 when he was named in Australia’s U23 Men’s Four to compete at the U23 World Rowing Championships. The New South Welshman claimed a silver at the event and the following year was named in the U23 Men’s Eight. The crew went on to win a silver medal at the U23 World Rowing Championships in Varese in 2014.

A Harvard graduate, Medway competed in 2016 in Australia’s Men’s Eight at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta. He was later named, alongside fellow Harvard graduate, Joshua Hicks, as one of the Men’s Sweep reserves for the Australian Rowing Team in 2016.
