Georgia Miansarow first represented Australia in 2013 at the World Rowing U23 Championships. The Sydney University BC athlete is coached locally by Alfie Young, while when based at the Hancock Prospecting Women's NTC she is under the guidance of John Keogh, Tom Westgarth and Ellen Randell. Born in the UK, Miansarow was educated in Australia and is currently studying a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Sports Management. Outside of rowing, Miansarow also volunteers with Shine Kids at the local prison in Windsor, NSW while also rowing full-time out in Penrith. Her favourite place to row is Lake Barrington in Tasmania and her favourite song to listen to before a race is 'Satisfaction' by the Rolling Stones. In 2017, who is part of the Hancock Prospecting Women's NTC, was named in the Women's Lightweight Quadruple Scull for World Cups 2 and 3 alongside Amy James, Alice Arch and Georgia Nesbitt. She went on to win gold at World Rowing Cup 3 and then silver at the 2017 World Rowing Championships in the boat class. In 2018, Miansarow was named in the Lightweight Women's Quadruple Sculls for World Cups 2 and 3.
