David Webster

David Webster started rowing in 2001 and coxed in his first major international event in 2009 at the U23 World Championships where the men’s eight finished fourth.

The following year at the World Championships, he coxed the men’s pair to victory and also finished second with the lightweight men’s eight. At the 2011 World Championships, these results were reversed. Webster has also won two World Cup medals with the men’s eight.

Webster is studying a Bachelor of Sport & Recreation Management. His brother Timothy is also a coxswain on the national team.
