Tasmanian Ciona Wilson was selected into the Hancock Prospecting Women’s National Training Centre in 2017 and in 2018 was selected to her first national team. The nursing student was selected into the Women’s Eight squad for the World Rowing Cups and is names two songs as her favourites to listen to before a race, Unwritten (Natasha Bedingfeild) and The Other Side (Greatest Showman). The Tasmanian names Lake Barrington as her favourite place to row, but she is yet to row overseas so is looking forward to seeing some new courses!
