After starting her rowing career at Sydney’s Roseville Colleg, Sarah Pound progressed to be one of the state’s top female lightweight rowers. Pound was selected in the lightweight single scull for the first World Cup of 2013, claiming a bronze medal. She followed this success by winning silver as part of the lightweight quad at the 2013 U23 World Championships. In 2014, she went on to win silver at the 2014 World Championships in Amsterdam.
Pound balances rowing out of the Hancock Prospecting Women's NTC with becoming a Chartered Accountant. The UTS rower has been selected into the Lightweight Women's Quadruple Scull for World Cups 2 and 3, while for the World Rowing Championships she will row in the Lightweight Women's Double Scull.
