Campbell Watts

In 2017, Campbell Watts made his debut in the Australian Rowing Team, with the New South Welshman selected in 2017 to represent Australia in its Men’s Eight at World Rowing Cups 2 and 3. The Arts and Commerce student is a member of the Reinhold Batschi Men’s National Training Centre and says Linley Point on the Lane Cove River and Lake Burley Griffin as his two favourite places to row. He has competed at Royal Canadian Henley and at the World University Rowing Regatta in Chengdu, China. Campbell likes to warm up for a race while listening to some Will Smith – in particularly the classic ‘Miami’. In 2018, Watts returned to the RBNTC and was named as the reserve for Australia’s Men’s Eight for World Cups 2 and 3 – where he rowed in the Men’s Single Scull. In the selection of the Men’s Quadruple Scull for the World Rowing Championships in 2018, Watts found himself selected alongside David Watts, Caleb Antill and Alexander Purnell.
