Angus Morrison’s family has a history of rowing, with his grandfather rowing for New Zealand in the 1950s, and it was this history that encouraged him to take up rowing.
The Queenslander was part fo the 2013 and 2014 Brisbane Grammar School First VIII, featured in the 2014 Queensland Pathway VIII and took home gold in the U19 Men’s Quad at the 2015 New South Wales State Championships, gold int eh U19 Men’s Eight and Men’s Four at the 2015 National Championships while also claiming silver in the U19 Men’s Pair at the same event.
