Rowing SA Recruitment: Participation, Pathway and Administration Officer

Dear Schools and Clubs,

There are a few staffing changes at Rowing SA and I would like to update you on them.

Jo Malcolm has recently been appointed as Director of Rowing at Adelaide High School. Jo has been an instrumental staff member at Rowing SA for several years advancing our community engagement through media systems and programs to an all-new level. Jo recently completed her teaching qualification, and the new role provides her with a great progression into her teaching career while remaining involved in rowing.

Verayna Zilm has recently been appointed State Development & Pathway Officer at Rowing Tasmania. Verayna had been looking for employment opportunities in Tasmania to follow her partner’s employment in Hobart. We are fortunate that Verayna will also remain involved in rowing. Verayna has been a valuable support to Rowing SA in recent years with her involvement in regatta operations and development. We wish both Jo and Verayna well in their new positions and thank them for their tremendous work at Rowing SA.

Rowing SA is now looking to recruit and fill the gap that Jo and Verayna’s departure will create. We are seeking applications for a full-time Participation, Pathway and Administration Officer. I encourage you to share this with your members or anyone you think may be a great fit for our association. The details of the position can be found here and applications including cover letter and resume will be accepted electronically to aswift@rowingsa.asn.au by 5pm Wednesday 22 September.

Regards,

Andrew Swift
